eTake your 4x4
Go shopping in Jicaral. Fill up the gas. From here you go in the direction of Nicoya. Before reaching Nicoya take a left to Carmona. Five hundred meters before Carmona you go over a bridge 200 meters further take a right, this road will make another right turn directly after crossing a small river. Follow this road and it will bring you back to the pacifc coast. Take your camaras, from the top of the mountains you have a beautifull view over Nicoya, the gulf and the main land.
This road is not for Sissys, in the rainy season you better go to a bar or do something else.

Go south along the coast one part of the road goes over the beach. Visit Cabo Blanco ( open wednesday to sunday) From there go to Montezuma, drink and eat something. If you have time left, visit the waterfalls.On your way back go to Cobano (fill up the gas) From there it is easy to find your way back.

Rent a boat with a captain and go sportfishing. Not always possible. It will take some money.

Rent a boat and go on the Rio Coyote or let the captain bring you to Samara or Montezuma. Not always possible, and will cost a lot.
